On a recent trip to Tennessee, Pastor & Mrs. Whitlow was able to visit the office of the founder of the Sword of the Lord, Dr. John R. Rice. They were able to see the library of Dr. Rice and have their picture taken sitting at Dr. Rice's desk while holding one of his Bibles. Pastor Whitlow also had his picture made standing at the pulpit that was used by Dr. Oliver B. Greene. This was a trip that was encouraging to both Pastor and Mrs. Whitlow. (Baptist history is one of the classes taught at TBBC.)
